I hope everyone checks out The Queen of Versailles based on your recommendation. I thought the dynamics at play were fascinating. And I agree with you about the timeshare business. The companies selling them are shady and they use high pressure sales tactics to sucker people who can’t afford them into buying them.
The first season of X Factor was a disappointment, but this season was a complete train wreck. It’s not Britney’s fault, although I don’t think she really brought much to the show. I’ll be glad when they cancel that monstrosity for good.
The Honey Boo Boo Halloween special was a scream. I’m going to start asking people to “please pass the meranaise” at the dinner table from now on.
Interesting advice question from Jey. I feel for you, Jey, and there’s probably not much you can do about the situation. I don’t know why these chicks always fall for such losers. Honey, is the dick really THAT good that you’re going to allow yourself to be walked all over, degraded and used on an ongoing basis? I think it all comes down to low self-esteem issues, and until these women can take a look at that, they’re going to keep repeating the same patterns.
i just finished watching the movie. was very interesting. to see them living so extravagantly, and then dealing with trying to cut back on their spending, etc. it’s kinda sad seeing how clueless jackie is to everything going on with the finances, and how desperately she wants things to work out in her family, while her husband is being so cold to her. i also feel so sorry for the nannies – taking care of these people’s kids, when they can’t be with their own. just to have that as their lives – it’s heartbreaking. and what else i got from the movie is that her punk niece jonquil is a stupid little cunt.
*Update* so she took my advice during the holidays and they broke up only to get back together again after New Year’s Eve I’m over the situation and won’t give her anymore advice if she’s not going to use it in the first place so I’m going to sit back and wait to tell her I told you so(again) also his punk ass had the nerve to come over my house to ask to sleep on my couch at 3am in the morning(I was up at he computer) i told him no and gave him a bottle of water and sent him on his lovely way btw I forgot to mention he’s kinda friends with my bf and he told him he was using her in the first place for pussy and her money and some where to stay but like I said I’ve washed my hands on helping her with relationship advice
